Why should you be disappointed, or think less of a work of art, if it is created digitally or by a computer program? Does that make it somehow less “authentic”? The computer is just a tool, like paint is a tool.
When I started painting, in 1950, all we had was oils. There was no acrylic paint yet. Should I have avoided it, when it came around, just because it was “too new”? How far does an artist have to go, to be “authentic”? Do we require them to make their own paint?
